George has been featured twice in the premier trade publication "Solid
Surface".
Counterpoint Creations was established with a focus on fabricating
solid surface and laminate countertops. We have done several
interesting things with these materials. We work with our customers to
make custom interiors.
Counterpoint Creations was established in 1999 by George Wurtzel in the
historic Old Town district of Lansing, Michigan.
George founded and ran Wurtzel Woodworking, a cabinet and millwork
shop, in Traverse City for 10 years.
He then studied production furniture making at Catawaba College, in
Hickory, North Carolina, and was involved in making prototype furniture
for several major furniture manufacturers.
A Michigan native, George returned to Lansing and obtained
